Team Leader Iris Sommerauer
My name is Iris Sommerauer and I have been a judge and trainer in Rally Obedience in the VDH for 12 years. I have 2 dogs in training myself at the moment, my miniature poodle Laarnie and Älsa. In the FCI I am a judge and coach.
I am looking forward to supporting and accompanying the German team at the first Rally Obedience World Championship.
Anja Kuschel & Mio
Hello, this is us. Anja and Mio, and we are proud to be part of Team Germany at the 1st Rally Obedience World Championship here in Finland. Mio is my 3.5 year old Golden Retriever and he is so much fun to train and learn new things with. I started Rally Obedience in 2017 with my Golden Retriever Toffee. When Mio joined our family as a small puppy in 2021 I prepared him from an early age for where the journey would take him. We have been competing in the national competition in class 3 for almost two years and now training for FCI was a new challenge. We live in a suburb of Berlin, together with my husband and my parents, who will also be cheering us on here and keeping their fingers crossed for us. I'm really looking forward to what we'll experience here at the World Championships and I'm really looking forward to meeting new people from other countries and being able to run some great courses.

Gabriele Weiß & Mandy
My name is Gabi Weiß. I am married and 63 years old. I am a dog trainer specializing in sport (rally obedience and hoopers). We have 8 dogs, 4 Border Collies and 4 Papillons aged from 5 months to 16 years. I do Rally Obedience with 7 dogs (since 2014) and Hoopers with 3 dogs (since 3 years). And we also do a bit of trick training. Mandy, the dog I am competing with at the World Championships, is 4 years old and competes at the highest level in both Hoopers and Rally Obedience. In 2022 she became Bavarian Champion and German Champion. Mandy always tries to give everything for me, is reliable and eager to work. At the same time, she is calm and balanced at home.
Gabriele Riemer & Sheldon
I am 48 years old, married and our pack includes our three Border Collies, Giotto, Sheldon and Tequila. I work as a tax clerk and our dogs have been allowed to accompany me to the office for 6 years. I have been practicing Rally Obedience for about 8 years, give regular training in the club and completed my training as a Rally Obedience judge 4 years ago. In the last few years I have been able to achieve a 2nd and several 3rd places at the Bundessiegerprüfung. Sheldon is 6 years old and an active, sweet dog. In addition to Rally Obedience, he also trains Hoopers and runs in the H2 class here.
